Meet the Founders
I never planned on building a handwriting brand… but motherhood has a way of revealing the work you were always meant to do.
I was the kid who wanted to play teacher, grading worksheets and gently encouraging my friends to be part of my “classroom.”
That love for teaching never left; it simply waited for the right moment to become something real.
When I became a mom, that same passion showed up in a new way.
I homeschooled all of my kids before Kindergarten and during COVID, not to push them ahead, but to make sure they were well grounded in our family values and most importantly, confidence in who they are.
But everything changed when my middle child, Jacob, began struggling with handwriting.
I saw his confidence dip, his frustration rise, and his bright spirit dim in ways I couldn’t ignore.
It reminded me of the biblical narrative where Jacob became Israel, “one who struggled with God and has overcome”, I knew this struggle had the potential to transform into something meaningful. I believed there had to be a better, gentler, more intuitive way to teach handwriting. And if I couldn’t find it, I would create it.
That’s what led us to build Intentional Learning Time, a collection of 8 early handwriting workbooks designed to help writing finally click.
Each workbook groups letters by similar motion patterns, so instead of trying to memorize 26 disconnected letters in strict A–Z order, kids learn with rhythm, repetition, and flow. It’s handwriting that finally makes sense.
For example, My Cool Handwriting Practice Workbook — Lowercase 1 focuses on the downstroke motion: l, t, i, j, k.
And when kids realize all these letters move the same way, something incredible happens, the overwhelm fades, their confidence grows, and you can literally see the moment everything starts to click.
Because handwriting isn’t just about penmanship, it’s about focus, confidence, and connection in the learning process.
We’re here to support intentional caregivers, empowered educators, and purposeful parents—because learning at home shouldn’t be overwhelming. It should be meaningful, manageable, and yes, even fun.
So whether you're a homeschooling parent, supporting after-school learning, or just looking for a more intentional way to connect with your child…
Intentional Learning Time Starts Now.
